Accelerating Women in Motorsport!
Whether you’re a competitor pushing the limits on track, a dedicated member of the race crew, or a passionate spectator, female involvement in motorsport is on the rise. However, women still make up a smaller percentage of participants, and the Australian Racing Drivers’ Club (ARDC) is committed to changing that!
Our Women & Wheels events are an exclusive women’s motorsport experience designed to introduce women of all ages and backgrounds – especially those who have never considered motorsport before – to the excitement of motor racing.
Women and Wheels March 2025 Event
🚗 Behind the Wheel – 22 women took the driver’s seat in high-powered Ford Mustangs with ARDC driver training partners Driving Solutions on the SMSP Skid Pan Circuit and experience the thrill of precision driving.
🏍 Two-Wheel Adventure – 2025 Yamaha XMAX 300 Tech MAX scooters were provided by Motoschool for an exciting introduction to motorcycling.
🎤 Inspiring Trackside Chat – ARDC President Natalie Turmine led an insightful discussion on how we can break barriers and encourage more women to take part in motorsport.
