| Australian Racing Drivers Club, known as ARDC, has
promoted motorsport in NSW for over 50 years. Commencing in 1952 at Parramatta Park ARDC has conducted events for cars and motorcycles at Mount Panorama Bathurst, Mt Druitt, Castlereagh, Catalina Park Katoomba, Amaroo Park and at it's current home Eastern Creek International Raceway in the booming suburbs of Western Sydney. ARDC created the Bathurst 1000 endurance race, the event which gave birth to V8 Supercars. In addition to conducting safe motorsport competition ARDC is committed to road safety and has recently constructed a skid pan and skid circuit for the purpose of driver education. A four wheel drive training track has also been created on the rolling hills surrounding the Eastern Creek complex. |
